8th grade teams Acadia and Tumbledown are sponsoring the dance tonight. It will be St. Patrick’s Day theme, so feel free to wear green! Mr. T will be the DJ. As usual, doors open at 6:30 and will last until 8:30. Please ensure you have a ride that arrives by 8:30. It costs $6.00 or $5.00 with a canned good. Hope to see you there!

Then come to LRMS tonight from 6:00 - 7:30 pm for the Resource Use and Waste Showcase. Here, 8th graders will present the solutions they have developed targeting a specific problem to help improve our school! Vote to help us figure out the most impactful projects! Join us this Thursday March 12th at 6:00 to see the faces that will change the future of LRMS!

Today is our last late arrival day until June. Please do not send your child to school before 9:30 if they are not riding a bus. Classes begin at 9:45. Buses run about 2 1/2 hours later than regular pick up times.

There is NO Monday ski program today. The program has ended. For more information, please contact the Pleasant Mountain Ski Club.

Any 8th grade student who has questions or needs more clarification about high school sign ups, please go to the library today at 11:20 for more information. Ms. Schrader and Ms. Dunn will be there to answer any questions and run through the process again.

Do you want to learn about nutrition and how to cook healthy meals? Sign up for Cooking Matters! Each week you'll be cooking, eating and learning about healthy food. A sign-up sheet is on bulletin board outside of art room. Cooking Matters can sign up 15 students. Students will be randomly selected and will be notified if they've been selected by February 29th. If selected it's important to attempt to make it to every session.
