The LRMS Civil Rights Team has a goal to promote a safe school environment by limiting bias-based behaviors. Those behaviors include any word, comment, action, or name-calling based on the areas of the following categories;

• Race and Skin Color
• National Origin and Ancestry
• Disability
• Sexual Orientation
• Religion
• Gender (including Expression and Identity)
